Gufa Pokhari is a small natural lake at the height of 2,890 meters (9,480 feet) above the sea level. It is in Gufa Village Development Committee, Sankhuwasabha District in Province 1, Eastern Nepal. Gufa Pokhari is known as the Rhododendron capital of Nepal as this region is home to 28 out of 32 species of Rhododendron that are found in Nepal. Gufa Pokhari is also one of the popular destinations in Tinjure Milke Jaljale Trail. Best time to visit Gufa Pokhari will be during Spring between February - April with clear sky and beautiful view of mountain ranges. But if you are a lover of snow then winter months November - December will be great.
